Billie O'Brien, 103, Passed Away
St. Charles's oldest parishoner and long-time volunteer, Launa Margaret "Billie" O'Brien, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was 103 years old. She is survived by her daughter Peggy, son Jim, and their spouses, as well as 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Her wake was December 5 at Murphy's Funeral Home on Wilson Blvd. Her funeral was December 6 at St. Charles.

The funeral for Dorothy Daniels is Monday, Sept. 29 at 11 AM here at St. Charles. Dorothy has been living with her cousin, LaVonia Sweeney (a long-time greeter at the 11 AM Mass) and her husband Anibal Maceira. A reception will follow the memorial Mass in Benedict Hall. Please keep them in your prayers.
