Every week, volunteers at the St. Charles Pantry fill an average of 20 bags of groceries, providing emergency non-perishable food to the needy in our community. The primary source of food supply depends on the continuing generosity of you, our parishioners. The Pantry needs canned vegetables and fruit, canned meats, soup and pasta entrees, cereal and other food items. The goal is to provide enough groceries for several days; nothing fancy, just plain wholesome food.

Here is a shopping list,
with the suggested contents of each Pantry bag:
1 can Green Vegetables Please print this shopping list and carry it with you to the grocery. |
Food Selection:
We could also use a steady supply of paper grocery bags. The bag we use is a paper bag with handles, such as from Trader Joe's, Harris-Teeter, or Whole Foods Market.
Drop-off Points:
Drop off your contributions in the pantry containers (wicker hampers), which are located at the Church's major entrances.
